Our Centre is a bright, modern community leisure facility providing leisure and play activities to support healthy lifestyles and providing a place where people of all ages and abilities can come together and meet like-minded individuals, make new friends or just enjoy a warm, inviting environment.

Our facility exists due to the hard work of South Carrick Community Leisure(SCCL), the social enterprise who manage and operate “The Quay Zone”, who with the support of the South Carrick Community and South Ayrshire Council, worked together to provide this new leisure centre in Girvan for the residents of South Carrick and to provide a fantastic addition to what Is on offer for visitors and tourist to the area.

SCCL are a charity organisation (charity no. SC043090) set up in the South Carrick Community with the main purpose of raising the funds to support the creation of this £6 million pound facility.

We plan to continue to develop and grow our service offering in line with our customer’s needs and with your support and involvement we hope to provide a leisure and community facility that we can all be proud of for many years to come.
