On 7 August 2009 the Ayrshire Coastal Path was extended southwards with the formation of the Lochryan Coastal Path, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Stranraer. The walk extends for eleven miles to Stranraer Tourist Information Office and so provides a facility to join up with the Southern Upland Way.
Starts at Glenapp Church, just off the A77.
