Originally built in the late 1930s when Ballantrae was a thriving holiday village Castlehill has been recently modernised to an incredibly high standard, it retains some of the thirties architectural features and has some simply stunning sea and river views. The house has been furnished with great taste and style in modern colours with an eclectic mix of old and new.
The fabulous kitchen has granite worktops, comfy sofa, doors to a small patio with gorgeous views, two dishwashers, two ovens, large gas hob, American fridge/freezer, TV and a dining table for twelve making it a wonderful spot for entertaining, cooking, dining, relaxing and having fun.
The large sitting room has a perfect atmosphere with really comfortable sofas, TV, log fire and a selection of books and games as well as wonderful views. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable with White Company linen and plenty of homely touches.
There is a large terraced garden with shrubs and lawn, a small terrace accessed from the kitchen and stunning views from the paved area above the cottage.
