Join us at Ballantrae harbour on 12th June for a showcase of exceptional Scottish food & drink.

Entry to the Main Festival is FREE and we have an exciting line-up of cooking demonstration, foraging walks and "Grape & Grain" tasting sessions with tickets starting from only £10.00.

The festival is held in a large marquee at Ballantrae Harbour overlooking stunning sea views towards Ailsa Craig. Within the main marquee you will discover a mouth watering range of STREET FOOD stalls offering tasty delights from stone baked pizzas to a hog roast along with a range of DRINKS stands including wine, beer and coffee. Make your selection and then relax and enjoy it at our indoor banqueting tables overlooking the harbour or (fair weather permitting) outside seating will be available.

Browse a wide selection of FOOD & DRINK STALLS selling the very best in local produce including; fish & seafood, meats, cheese, chocolates & confectionary, jams & chutneys, breads, cakes & baking, whisky, beer and cider, for you to take home.

Entertainment will be provided throughout the day from a LIVE BAND.


Visitors can pre-book with our Early Bird Bonus ticket for express entry to the main marquee on the day and will receive a FREE eco shopping bag containing a festival programme and a free entry card to the Prize Draw (this can be bought on the day for £2).

Join in making the ‘Food Festival Cairn’, get your face painted and whip up a healthy breakfast using pedal power on Home Energy Scotland’s ‘Smoothie Bike’. From juniper to brown trout, find out about the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere and the local high focus species.
